Stacy is a cancer research scientist currently
working as a postdoctoral fellow at a Canadian research institution. To better understand the intricacies of
cancer cells, she combines cellular, biochemical, animal and clinical models.
Throughout her training and in conversations with people
outside the scientific community, she began to see the disconnect between
emerging scientific cancer research and public knowledge. This blog represents her attempt at
bridging this gap and uncovering the intricacies of cancer research for the
general public.
